In order to obtain the best quality for your studies, OPTIMED has two different Clinical Research Units:

A 60-bed ClinPharm Unit in Grenoble, with legal accreditations since 1990
A 32-bed hospital based ClinPharm Unit in Lyon

Our Clinical Research Unit in Grenoble currently comprises 60 beds, including a 12-bed intensive monitoring section and up-to-date equipment : ECG, Telemetry, Holter ECG, BP Monitoring, SpO2 Monitoring, Platelet Aggregation, EEG, Psychometric Tests, Respiratory Tests... This Clinical Research Unit is managed by Yves Donazzolo, MD, MSc, Clinical Pharmacologist, Medical Director, and Mathilde Latreille-Barbier, MD, Head of Clinical Trials.

The structure in Lyon, managed by Yves Donazzolo, MD, situated in the heart of a main scientific and medical environment in France, is particularly adapted to early drug development.

A highly trained team of physicians, study-nurses, project managers and technicians is dedicated to the conduct of the trials.

Our location, close to the University of Grenoble (500 000 inhabitants, 60 000 students), allows us to take advantage of a large pool of healthy volunteers and specific populations (diabetics, dyslipidemic subjects, overweight persons, subjects with high blood pressure,…).
This way, our recruitment department has over 15 000 rigorously selected volunteers on its files.
Our line of conduct is to share your objectives, to ensure volunteers' security, to establish a constant dialogue and clarity at all times.
